Late in the third quarter, Adams broke loose, shaking off two and three tackles for a 64-yard run to the end zone to give the Seahawks a 12-0 advantage.
“I was sprinting,” Adams said. “I wasn’t about to slow up, after I about got caught last week at Freeport.”
This was Adams second long TD run in two weeks. Against Freeport last week, Adams dashed 52 yards for the score.
The win boosts the Seahawks to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in District 1-A.
The Seahawks knocked the ball loose on Jay’s second possession with Charles Whitfield making the recovery.

In the third quarter, Shock picked off his second pass of the night and returned this one for 27 yards before he was taken down at the 29-yard line.
Six plays later, the Seahawks were rambling into the end zone with Adams shaking off the Royals for a 64-yard sprint and six points. The two-point try attempt failed.
In the fourth quarter, the Royals scored on a 10-play drive with Hunter Boutwell, scoring on a 9-yard run up the middle. Todd Laney kicked in the point after.
Jay had the ball once more, but South Walton’s Jonathan Duncan dropped the quarterback for a 7-yard loss.
South Walton got the ball back with 2:39 left to play. They made two first downs and then ran out the clock.
