Exciting programs are upcoming at the Coastal Branch Library of Walton County. The Friends of the Coastal Branch's artist of the month for July is Emily Ellis. Emily works through a variety of media including acrylic, pastel, watercolor and photography. "The natural world" is her foremost source of inspiration.

"This show 'Decadal Evolution' will give me the opportunity to display a range of works highlighting four decades of selected art," Ellis said. She has a studio called 'Desire to Inspire' on her property north of Lake Powell.

The Gladys N. Milton Memorial Library located in Paxton is creating a local organization to assist their development. The Friends of the Coastal Branch is happy to support this endeavor by donating a portion of the books left from its May Book Sale to them. Be on the lookout for upcoming events at the Paxton Branch.
