Wynell B. Moody

Mrs. Wynell B. Moody, 86, passed away Jan. 29, 2014. She was born Jan. 25, 1928, in Montgomery, Ala., to Robert and Ella Renew Brackin.

Mrs. Moody was a resident of Freeport since 1969 moving from Montgomery. She was Baptist by faith. She was a business owner in the grocery store industry for many years before retiring. She worked at the Dixie Dandy in Freeport for several years. She enjoyed reading and fishing.

Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James C. Moody, and one son, James H. Moody.

Mrs. Moody is survived by her daughter, Teresa Morgan and husband Wayne of Eufaula, Ala.; son, Doug Moody and wife Jeanine of Freeport; brother, Benjamin Brackin and wife Jerry; sister, Amy C. Neider; grandchildren, Melissa Porter and husband Bobby, Gene Moody and wife Suzanna, Dee Healey and husband Shane, Jim Moody and Bobby Morgan; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by direct cremation.

Andrea Andie Murphy Cunningham.

Andrea "Andie" Murphy Cunningham passed away at her home in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., early Jan. 25, 2014, at the age of 43. She was born in Boston, Mass., but grew up in New Orleans, La. After attending Vermont College and Tulane, she graduated from LSU in 1995 and Charity School of Nursing in 2000. For the past 13 years she worked as an RN at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, and lastly, Gentiva Health Care.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, hiking, cycling, kayaking, going to the beach, Crab Island, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, David Cunningham; daughter, Tobie Cunningham; son, Owen Cunningham; mother, Ruth Murphy; father, Walter Murphy, his fiancé, Peg McTernan; sister, Cynthia Murphy; in-laws, Thomas and Allyson Cunningham; sister-in-law, Shannon Saunier; aunt, Janet Willis; cousin, Stacey Dand; uncles, Peter and Stephen Murphy; and aunt, Sue Barrett.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy Towle, Thomas Towle, Alice Murphy and Walter Murphy.

A time of visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Good News Church, 4747 US Hwy. 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. The funeral service will commence at 1 p.m. under the direction of Pastor Chris Perry.

Additional memorial services will be held at a future date to be announced in Boston, Mass., and Burlington, Vt.
