Joseph Paul Wolfe

Mr. Joseph Paul Wolfe, 70, passed away Feb. 10, 2014. He was born Oct. 5, 1943, to Paul and Zuma Wolfe.

Mr. Wolfe was a resident of Freeport, Fla. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and graduated from Tampa Technical Institute as valedictorian. He worked as an electrical engineer in telecommunication for more than 45 years, working with Untied Telephone Company in Naples, Fla., and Saudi Aramco in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia.

He enjoyed coaching baseball and soccer for his children, and also witnessed some of his previous players go on to the Little League World Series. He enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Florida State football.  He also enjoyed sailing, fishing and long walks on the beach.

Mr. Wolfe is preceded in death by his father and mother, and brothers, Jack Wolfe, Strauss Wolfe and Harold Wolfe.

Mr. Wolfe is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Wanda Wolfe of Freeport; sons, Paul Wolfe of Freeport, and Michael Wolfe of Santa Rosa Beach; daughter,r Melissa Wolfe Foskey and husband Chris of Atlanta; sister, Yvonne Wolfe of New Port Richie, Fla.; and grandchildren, Alexis Foskey, Zac Foskey and Aadin Wolfe.

A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 14 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Hwy. 20.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Hwy. 20.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.
