The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will host a day of silent meditation and quiet activities from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Dec. 22 at he Coastal Branch Library, 437 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach to honor solstice that takes place Dec. 21. Music and More Workshops
The Florida Chautauqua Theatre will hold its Music and More Spring Workshops, instruction in singing, drama, dance and instrumentation, on Mondays beginning Jan. 14. Workshop One for K-3rd grades is from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and costs $50/month. Workshop Two for 4th-8th grades is from 4:30-6 p.m., and is $60/month. Tudents will participate in a musical theatre production May 9-12.
Carrabba’s cooking class

Baytowne on Ice
The ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be open through Jan. 31 at the Apex Broadcasting Skating Pavilion. For $10 guests can skate for an hour and a half. Skate rental is $2.
