Music and More Workshops
The Florida Chautauqua Theatre will hold its Music and More Spring Workshops, instruction in singing, drama, dance and instrumentation, on Mondays beginning Jan. 14. Workshop One for K-3rd grades is from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and costs $50/month. Workshop Two for 4th-8th grades is from 4:30-6 p.m., and is $60/month. Tudents will participate in a musical theatre production May 9-12.
Carrabba’s cooking class
Carrabba’s Italian Grill at Silver Sands Premium Outlets will share secrets from its kitchen in a cooking class to benefit Shelter House from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at 10562 U.S. Hwy. 98. The afternoon will also feature food samples, a complimentary glass of wine, a raffle and recipes to take home.

Baytowne on Ice
The ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be open through Jan. 31 at the Apex Broadcasting Skating Pavilion. For $10 guests can skate for an hour and a half. Skate rental is $2. Tasting of Champions
The Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation’s Tasting of Champions to benefit children in need in Northwest Florida will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Coral Ballroom at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf & Beach Resort. Free pancakes at IHOP
IHOP will give away free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 5 to celebrate National Pancake Day. The fundraiser aims to raise $3 million to kick off Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ 30th anniversary.
Pajama Time Story Time
