Dr. Jensen Ellen Hart of Atlanta and Dr. Glendon Alan Hyde of Winchester, Tenn., were married May 17, 2014, at The Honors Course in Chattanooga, Tenn. The ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Henry Gracz.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. Charles and Dr. Joyce Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Hart, both of Atlanta, and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Charles Hart of Atlanta and Rosemary Beach. She attended The Westminster Schools, received her bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Vanderbilt University, and her medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine.  She is an internal medicine resident at the University of Tennessee, Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Glen Alan Hyde (Renee) and the late Sally Hay Hyde of Winchester. He attended The Baylor School, received his bachelors from Wake Forest University and his medical degree from The University of Tennessee School of Medicine. He is a general surgery resident at UT-Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Hollis M. Hart of Atlanta. The bridesmaids were Shannon Jensen O’Geen of Davidson, N.C., Corinne Hyde Plumhoff of Dallas, Texas, Mary Hyde Langdon of Midland, Texas, Dr. Casey S. Woodward of Atlanta, and Dr. Lauren K. Lazar of Memphis.

The best man was the groom’s father, Dr. Glen A. Hyde. The groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Jeb Hamilton Hart of Memphis, the groom’s step-brothers, Kenton Walker and Newton Hunter Culbertson of Tullahoma, Tenn., and brothers-in-law, Chuck Plumhoff and Travis Langdon.

The flower girls were nieces and nephews of the bride and groom: Sally Langdon, Sofia Jensen and Charlie O’Geen.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at The Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga.

After a honeymoon at The Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, the Hydes will live and work in Chattanooga.
