"Never in a lifetime would anyone have thought something like a virus could turn the world upside down to this extent,"
PANAMA CITY BEACH — Organizers of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival have announced that due to the national state of emergency over the coronavirus outbreak, the festival will not take place this year.
"Never in a lifetime would anyone have thought something like a virus could turn the world upside down to this extent," organizers Mark and Renee Carter said in a Saturday press release.

The festival has been rescheduled for April 21-25 at the Aaron Bessant Park Ampitheater.
In the release, the Carters said the festival was being postponed out of an overabundance of caution and to comply with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ directive to limit large gatherings.
They hope to present the same lineup next year and said all tickets, wristbands and lanyards will be honored for the same seating and events.
Those who can’t attend next year can get their money back.
