Valentine’s weekend typically means romantic dinners and flowers for most, but for South Walton residents and visitors alike, it also signals the highly anticipated annual Valentine Tour of Homes presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County.

The tour is known for showcasing stunning interiors, architecturally acclaimed homes and picturesque settings bringing inspiration to tour goers’ winter weekend at the beach. The Tour also raises funds for the CAA’s Art For All Program, which supports arts in education, artist programs and services, and grants and scholarships to artists, teachers and students.

This annual event will open the doors to some of the most gorgeously designed South Walton homes on Saturday, Feb.13 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 14 from 12–4 p.m. This year’s tour includes a magnificent Gulf-front estate in Rosemary Beach, a newly renovated Point Washington cottage, a state-of-the-art contemporary Seaside stunner and a lake-front beauty in WaterColor.

“We are excited for our guests to see this select group of diversely designed residences, from a beautifully renovated cottage to a nine-million-dollar gulf-front home,” says CAA Executive Director Jennifer Steele. “No matter what one’s tastes are they are sure to be intrigued and inspired on this tour, and they can also feel good knowing they are supporting arts programs and services for our community.”

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the weekend of the event, valid for the entire weekend with one entry per house. Tickets can be purchased online at and locally at Smith’s Antiques in Destin, Fusion Art Glass in Grand Boulevard, the Bayou Arts Center in Santa Rosa Beach, Sundog Books in Seaside, and Hidden Lantern Gallery in Rosemary Beach.

The Cultural Arts Alliance’s vision is to make Walton County a creative place in which to live, work and visit – a destination for artistic excellence through which lives are enriched, economy is stimulated and community is strengthened. Learn more at
