A 16-year-old girl who had been missing since Feb. 28 has been found, according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

WCSO is reporting that Lizette Flores was located in Alabama after being listed as a runaway for 24 days. Details in the case, though, were limited Saturday morning. Assisting in finding the teen were the Daphne (Ala.) Police Department, Alabama Bureau of Investigations, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the FBI.

In previous reporting, Flores was last seen at her home on Feb. 28. She reportedly sneaked out of her home with a 14-year-old friend and went to Pensacola with an unknown black man, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. The 14-year-old friend returned home, but Flores did not, setting off a search that lasted well past three weeks.
