The victim in the case, who is between the ages of 12 and 18, sent Jose Adolfo Bolanos-Quezada a photograph of a negative pregnancy test.
PANAMA CITY BEACH — A 48-year-old man who acknowledged having an emotional relationship with a teenage employee was arrested this week.
Jose Adolfo Bolanos-Quezada of Panama City Beach has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a minor between the ages of 12 and 18, according to his Walton County Sheriff's Office arrest report.
According to the report, the girl told investigators that the two had been in a relationship for two months and had intercourse twice in August.
The incidents occurred while they were cleaning houses in a South Walton beach community, the report said.
The deputy reviewed text messages between the two and found they were indicative of a romantic relationship. He found selfies and emojis that were sexual in nature and had been sent back and forth between the two.
The girl also sent Bolanos-Quezada a photograph of a negative pregnancy test.
When authorities interviewed him Monday, he described their relationship as "friendly" and added that he flirts with all his female employees, the report said.
He denied any sexual contact between the two and asked to have a lawyer present for any further questions.
