FREEPORT — A 23-year-old man was arrested after telling a woman to “get the (expletive) out of his house” and shoving her to the ground.

According to a Walton County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, on Dec. 16 the man’s mother called 911 to report her son had gotten into a physical altercation at the residence. According to the mother, a woman had come to the house to exchange children with her ex-husband, and when she arrived the man came out of his bedroom and “began screaming at her to get ‘the (expletive) out of his house.’”

He then shoved the woman to the ground, causing a hole in a hallway wall, and hit her repeatedly in the face.

Several witnesses and photographs corroborated the victim’s story.

The man was arrested and charged with battery domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and taken to the Walton County Jail.
