Pat Carlyle will speak on “Be Right Where Your Are” when the Emerald Coast Meditation Society meets at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Christ the King, 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Do you find yourself replaying the past or planning for the future? Many of us are never really connected to the “here and now” of our lives. Come explore how to stay in the present moment, which is really the only one we really have. The meeting will include a talk by Carlyle as well as silent meditation and group discussion.
Carlyle is a Mindfulness Meditation teacher in Santa Rosa Beach. She began her meditation practice more than 40 years ago and is dedicated to offering the teachings of spiritual practices that awaken our natural wisdom and compassion. She holds her M.Ed in psychoeducational processes and organizational development. Carlyle taught executive education and strategic planning in Fortune 500 companies prior to her move to the beach in 2002. She now has a successful real estate practice and is an avid outdoorswoman.
