Adrianne Brackett had been a hair dresser for just four years when she opened her first salon in 2010.

In the past eight years, the needs of her clients and her business have expanded until she felt the need for a second location.

Brackett opened Pure & Couture Studio on April 6 at 36468 Emerald Coast Parkway at the back of Old South Center and just east of the Pure & Couture Salon at City Market.

Opening the sister location will allow Brackett and her 10 stylists at the Salon to concentrate on hair. The Studio will concentrate on everything else.

"We needed to open a new space as our clients were wanting more and more services," said Brackett.

The Studio will be an extension of the Salon, featuring a similar atmosphere and the same level of care. The studio will offer new and additional services, such as eyelash extensions, keratin lash lifts, microblading, permanent makeup, facials and skin care, spray tanning services, waxing, and massage therapy. The studio will also feature education and studio photography space.

"The new space will allow us to offer a variety of new quality services that we haven't had the space to offer in the salon," she said. "It's really going to expand what we can provide to our clients."

In addition to her 10 stylists at the salon, Brackett will employ four or five professionals at the studio.

"We have room for four to six, but all the girls don't work on the same day," she said.

The Studio will not be a walk-in facility, but by appointment only due to the nature of the services, and all bookings must go through the Salon. Tea and water will be offered at the Studio for clients.

Pure & Couture Salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and open until 7 p.m. by appointment, and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and can stay open until 5 p.m. Saturdays by appointment.

"One thing that sets our salon apart is we have educators come in regularly and teach to make sure we stay up to date on the latest trends," said Brackett.
