The REP Theatre of Seaside has scheduled its free performances during its summer season that runs through Aug. 13. Catch one of the many shows scheduled in the 30A communities including Seaside, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach.

This season the REP cracks open its big book of stories to share the tale of "The Prince & The Pauper" at 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Aug. 13. The REP’s group of peppy players pounce through this comedic take on the classic story suited for all ages. An exciting activity sure to create lasting memories, laughs and adventure. This is a free, non-ticketed event that takes place on the Seaside Amphitheater stage. Bring a blanket or low back chair for seating on the lawn.

The REP Theatre’s traveling troubadours present a tale as old as time, "Beauty & The Beast," at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 8 at North Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach. This production is fun for the entire family and guarantees laughs, adventures and imagination, a lively experience sure to create memories. Bring your favorite low back chair or a blanket. This is a free, non-ticketed event which takes place on the lawn.

Come on an adventure in Alys Beach with The REP Theatre through this completely original storytelling experience for children of all ages. Watch as a new, one-of-a-kind "Adventure in Alys," created by the audience at 10 a.m. Mondays from May 28 through Aug. 6 at Fonville Press in Alys Beach. The event is free for all ages with food and beverage available for purchase from the menu. This is a non-ticketed event presented by The Alys Foundation.

Awkward Oxen Improv Hour at Alys Beach is a free, fun, interactive, and fast-paced comedy show that’s fun for groups of all ages at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, May 30 through Aug. 9. Join The REP’s improv troupe, The Awkward Oxen, as they play improv games, and make up scenes and songs on the spot based on audience suggestions. Join in on the fun (if you’d like) with a free improv workshop each Wednesday and performance each Thursday. Don’t worry, if you suffer from a bit of stage fright you’re free to hang out and watch and get some laughs. Located at Fonville Press in Alys Beach, the event is free for all ages with food and beverage available for purchase from the menu.

The REP actors present "Stories by The Sea" at 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, June 1 through July 31, at The Seaside Amphitheater in Central Square as they present a unique and unorthodox storytelling experience for children of all ages. Each day The REP will offer a new story and there might even be opportunities to participate. All ages welcome. The non-ticketed event is free because of a donation from Seaside Merchants.

Are your kids all about the drama? Drop them at The REP’s Mainstage for Improv Bootcamp to release some of their creative energy from 2-3:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays June 1 through July 31. The REP's staff of professional actors guide children on a journey through the imagination, creating stories and developing characters that require quick wit and inventive thinking through structured curriculum. Bootcamp attendees are invited back for a group performance each Thursday at 4 p.m. during "Stories by The Sea" at The Seaside Amphitheater so they can show off their skills. Class is $25 including the free Thursday performance for students who have attended an Improv Bootcamp class.

The REP continues bringing world class singer-songwriters and welcomes Callaghan on May 27 and Jaimee Harris with Grant Peeples on June 7 as part of the Live@TheREP Concert Series. Concerts are on The REP's mainstage at 216 Quincy Circle in Seaside. Doors open at 7 p.m. with show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the concerts are $25.
