1. Moonlight Paddle
Join the Rangers at Camp Helen State Park for a moonlight paddle on Lake Powell from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Participants must be experienced paddlers and 12 years old or older. Cost is $35/person, cash only. Fee includes watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, glow sticks, park admission fee, and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Watercraft and gear from outside are not permitted. Advance reservations required at 233-5059.
2. ECTC Season 6
Emerald Coast Theatre Company opens its sixth annual season with the musical “The Spitfire Grill.” Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at ECTC’s performance space, 560 Grand Boulevard (upstairs) in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to allow time for browsing artwork by local artists in the Lobby Gallery. Tickets are $35/adults and $32/seniors (55 years old and up), students, and military. 3. Eggs on the Beach
Bay Breeze Patio will host the fifth annual Eggs on the Beach Big Green Egg Grilling Competition from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach. All proceeds benefit The Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and Food For Thought.
