United for a Good Cause Inc., a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, invites the community to be part of its 14th annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle. a needy children’s fiesta. The event will be a fun-filled Latin-flavored party open to needy children and families regardless of race, ethnicity or creed.
Everything will be free at this party including new toys for all children who attend. There will be food, games, DJs, singers, church choirs, clowns, magicians, dance contests for bikes and more. Free coats courtesy of the United Way’s Coats for Kids program will also be given out. Santa and his hard-working group of elves will all be there to ensure all the kids get a new toy.
More than 1,500 children and families are expected to attend from 1-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Santa Rosa Mall in Fort Walton Beach. Attendees are asked to enter at the Food Court entrance. From 1–2 p.m., only families with children with disabilities will be allowed as a way of providing them an opportunity to enjoy the activity before the general public comes in. The general public will be allowed to enter starting at 2 p.m.
The support of the community of businesses and individuals is needed to make this already very popular and high attendance event the best ever. Business sponsorship opportunities are available and monetary or in-kind donations are welcome.
Volunteers are also needed and the organizers invite the youth of the Emerald Coast to volunteer of their time to serve their community at this event.
