Karuna 30A, 30A Horse Farm at Arnett's Gulfside, and generous community sponsors are crafting an all-day event on Dec. 9 to raise funds to aid those impacted by Hurricane Michael.
“We wanted to focus on locals — and donations that stay local,” said organizer Rebecca Ison of the event's beneficiaries United Way of Northwest Florida and Toys for Tots. “We're focusing on our local United Way to help the families still displaced around Christmas time and collecting toys for Toys for Tots so the kids can have a little holiday cheer.”
The event includes two stages, over a dozen musical performances, children's activities, and holiday-themed fun.
“We appreciate everyone who is helping us build a community event with a purpose. We will have food by Signature Catering of 30A, a s'mores station, bouncy houses, horse-drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa, Seaside Rep with 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told', and so much more,” says Ison.
Currently, the Karuna team is accepting silent auction and raffle items that can be dropped off at Sunrise Coffee Co. in Gulf Place.
“30A Horse Farm at Arnett's Gulfside is honored to be a part of such an incredible partnership with Karuna 30A for this musical holiday celebration for those affected by Hurricane Michael. We are also proud to be teamed up to help the families who need our love and support during this holiday season,” shared the venue through an official statement.
Karuna 30A Hurricane Relief Event occurs from 12:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at 30A Horse Farm at Arnett's Gulfside, 613 S County Highway 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Tickets are $10.
