From the Cost of Poverty event on Feb. 2 to the upcoming "Taste and See" on March 5, everything is building toward the launch of Caring and Sharing of South Walton's new program for individuals and families in our area who want to make a change. Communities of Transformation is coming soon. The SoWal Community Chaplain is still providing pastoral care, information, and referrals to those in crisis, but most of my energy is going toward creating more sustainable, longterm community-based solutions.

March 5 Taste & See for COT

Join us Tuesday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m. at Good News United Methodist Church for the "launch preview party" of Communities of Transformation. It is for those looking to make a positive change with community support. It is for those wanting a transformational volunteer opportunity. It is for those wanting to build relationships across socio-economic lines. It is for those in a position to refer potential participants or volunteers. Come satisfy your appetite and your curiosity at the same time. Learn about the program, see the space, and meet those who will be involved.
