Grayton Beer Brewpub, the fully operational brewery, restaurant and bar in Grayton Beach, will host three special events the weekend of April 19–21, including an inaugural Beer Dinner, Birthday Bash and Soulful Sunday Easter Lunch.
On April 19, Head Chef Scott Plumley and Chef de Cuisine Matt Penhollow will prepare a four-course meal paired with four new specialty beers brewed from the Brewpub’s seven-barrel small-batch system. Head Brewer Josh Gauger will walk guests through the tasting notes of the new Pilsner, India Pale Ale, Saison and Honey Ale, each paired with a food course. This exclusive dinner, beginning at 6 p.m., will be the first introduction of these specialty brews to the general public. Cost to attend is $62 plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited. On April 20, the Brewpub will celebrate its one year anniversary. The Brewpub’s Birthday Bash, hosted from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will include live music, an all-you-can-eat seafood boil, unlimited pours of a variety of yearly and specialty beers, crafts for all ages by Uniquely Clever’s Mobile Art Bus and a two-man cornhole tournament. Signup for the cornhole tournament will be from 11–11:30 a.m. Competition is limited to the first eight teams. The family-friendly event will include $5 kids’ meals. Wristbands for unlimited specialty beer pours and the seafood boil will be sold at the door for $25 each. The regular menu will be available as well.
The weekend will conclude with a special twist on the Brewpub’s regularly scheduled Soulful Sunday Lunch. Americana-folk artists Longleaf Drive will perform from 12-3 p.m. for Easter Lunch guests. In addition to the regular menu, Easter lunch will include a Meat ‘n Three. The Brewpub does not accept reservations for Soulful Sunday Easter lunch.
