SANTA ROSA BEACH, —On Nov. 15, 51 people attended the Topsail Talks presentation on bobcats and coyotes conducted by Elizabeth Heikkinen from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.


Program attendees learned all about these beautiful animals as well as ways they can help increase these animals’ chance of survival.


Topsail Talks is a monthly educational discovery series with presentations from organizations and government agencies from outside the park on the third Friday of the month at 10 a.m. in the clubhouse.


Future dates and topics are bears by Florida Fish and Wildlife (FWC) on Dec. 20, mosquitoes by South Walton Mosquito Control on Jan. 17, and the “Beauty of Artificial Reefs” on March 20.
