Sixteen-year-old Richard Grice was found in the Atlanta area on Sunday night.

NICEVILLE — A teen wanted in connection with a shooting that injured a Panama City man on Saturday has been located in Georgia.



According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old Richard Grice was found in the Atlanta area Sunday night and taken into custody. Details of his capture are not yet available, the OCSO said.


A warrant had been issued for Grice for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.


Grice is accused of shooting 22-year old Kelsey Siler of Panama City on Saturday outside of Grice’s home on Cat Mar Road in Niceville.


Siler was a passenger in a car parked outside of Grice’s home when the shooting took place. He was struck twice and is being treated at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.


The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
