SANTA ROSA BEACH — The Coastal Seniors of South Walton plan to host a lecture from a local doctor on acupuncture and herbal medicine.
According to a press release from the group, the event will be at Jan. 21 at 12 p.m. at the Walton County District 5 Commissioner Office.
Drew Smith, owner and physician at the Tortoise Clinic in Santa Rosa Beach, will focus on what eastern medicine is, how it works and how it can help people thrive.
A light lunch will also be available for guests, along with a raffle following Smith’s presentation, the release said.
Coastal Seniors of South Walton is a nonprofit organization for “active adults looking for dedicated, enthusiastic” people.
“If you are 50 years or older and reside in Walton county, we invite you to join CSSW,” the release said.
