WEST BAY — For the eighth consecutive year, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) will sponsor the 11th annual 30A Songwriters Festival Jan. 17 through Jan. 20.

The festival consists of more than 200 artists and 25 venues along Highway 30A. This year’s headliners include triple-nominated John Prine and many more.
“The 30A Songwriters Festival brings an array of world class musicians right to South Walton, Florida. About 70% of our audience flies in from out of town,” said Russell Carter Artist Management in a press release from the airport. “Thanks to sponsors like ECP, attendees get to enjoy topnotch entertainment in intimate listening rooms across the 30A area.”
The 30A Songwriters Festival brings in world class musicians to South Walton and transforms a variety of venues into unique music settings. For ECP, its sponsorship is very important to them for the growth of the airport.
“There are people that fly in from all over the country, like Nashville, for this event,” said Parker McClellan, Executive Director of ECP. “It gives us a chance to showcase the region and the community.”
The airport takes any opportunity to be partners with events like the 30A Songwriters Festival in order to grow.
The event will donate 100% of its proceeds to the Culture Arts Alliance of Walton County, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing culture to the community. Festival weekend passes are available for purchase and they start at $330.
