I can no longer hold my silence. This letter is to all the Trump-hating liberal/socialists who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. There will be an easy few questions for you to answer.
I know those of you who own stocks, have 401Ks and other investments that rely on the market are very happy. I know I am and I give credit to our president. I’m sure you do not but why are you buying new cars, taking expensive vacations and renovating your house or maybe moving to a new house?
Where did you get all the money to do this? Let me know since I would like to invest in it. Are you donating to your church or synagogue? Just from the Trump tax break alone I am able to donate thousands to charities and my synagogue.
Now for the big question: Will you stay with your investments if (G-d forbid) there is miracle that a Democrat is going to win the presidency? I believe that you will be secretly praying for Trump (or even voting for him) to win. You will still bash Trump and even vote for Biden or whoever gets the nomination because you know your vote does not count since Trump will win in a landslide.
But this will allow you to save face. You also know that the market will crash big time if Trump loses. So you will have sell orders in as will I. Do you really believe that Biden or those other socialists can do what Trump has accomplished?
As far as the impeachment circus goes it will only ensure a Trump victory. So hold on to your beliefs, but I know I will vote knowing that Trump is the only hope for a safe country, great economy, jobs and making money. How did the previous presidents help you?
Lastly, we finally have a president that supports Israel and not only promised to move our embassy to Jerusalem but did it. The Democratic Party, in my opinion, is not only anti-Israel but some members are clearly anti-Semitic.
Col. (ret) Martin Siegel, Niceville
