Jackacuda’s/Brotula’s softball team is on a roll winning their second consecutive game in the Coed Division IV Softball League with an 11-9 victory over Navigators at Morgan Sports Center.

Down 5-1 after four innings, Jackacuda’s put two runs on the board in the fifth to close the gap. However, Navigators maintained the lead with one in the bottom half for a 6-3 advantage.

In the top of the sixth, Jackacuda’s rallied to score eight runs to take lead.

Navigators finished up with one in the sixth and two in the seventh.

Big hitters for Jackacuda’s was Matt Molina with three doubles and a single, Chris Kraft with two doubles and a single and Kyle Horton, who connected for two singles.

JR Gross doubled and hit two singles for Navigators. Bart Hardy connected for three singles and Ryan Marcell doubled and singled.


HealthSource 17, HOA’s 8

HealthSource jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first two innings and then scored eight in the third to go up 14-4. HealthSource scored two more runs in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Ryan Garcia led HealthSource with two doubles and a single. Ashley Harrison doubled and hit two singles, and Jeremy Maines connected for three singles.

Don Buck was the top batter for HOA’s with two doubles and a single. Robert McFarland and Clonese Graves each doubled and singled.
