A rising superstar in the Wine World collections is Helene Garcin Leveque: owner of 4 Chateaux in the Bordeaux area. Her wines are all getting ratings from Robert Parker from 93-100 points. The family is dedicated to making the best wine.

Proof of that fact is her aunt's winery next door, Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte with 95-100 average in the past 3 years. Helene and her husband have also ventured into winemaking in Argentina, starting their brand Poesia in the past few years. The wines are produced in the finest Mendoza viticultural area and this particular wine is made from 25 year old vines.

The attraction is immediate with a deep garnet color, followed by a nose of blackberries, cassis and plums. Sweet, rich tannins follow and a hint of spice develops. This is a medium bodied wine with a touch of softness and a well integrated finish. At $11.99 a bottle, it is hard not to be impressed.
