Scenic Sotheby's International Realty leads Emerald Coast luxury real estate market

Special to The Sun

Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty helped more customers buy and sell luxury real estate in 2015 than ever before. The brokerage celebrated many momentous occasions in 2015, beginning with the grand opening of its first branch office at 30Avenue near Rosemary Beach, and closing it with the highest dollar volume of real estate sales from Destin to Rosemary Beach. Guiding over 600 families through their real estate transactions in 2015, the company achieved a sales dollar volume totaling over $442 million, surpassing its 2014 bench mark by more than 60 percent with an average sale price just over $700,000.

Among the company’s significant sales was a gulf front home in Blue Mountain Beach that commanded the highest sale price on the Emerald Coast for 2015, closing in December for just over $7.5 million.

Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty also led in gulf front property sales. From Destin to Rosemary Beach, and specifically along Scenic Highway 30A, the firm generated the highest dollar volume of sales among both gulf front homes and residential gulf front lots.

Seven Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty agents are ranked among the top 50 most productive members of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors by dollar volume, two of whom closed the year in the Number 1 and Number 2 spots. The average dollar volume of annual agent sales at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty is just over $11.5 million, 10 times the average agent production in the marketplace.

Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty welcomed 11 agents to its team in 2015, and two more have already joined since Jan. 1.

“When I’ve considered transitioning to other firms it’s always seemed that it would be very complicated, and the move to Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty could not have been easier,” says Realator Jo Stewart who joined in February of last year. “The day I got there everything was set up and all I had to do was concentrate on my clients and I hit the ground running.”

“After joining the company I realized that it was a very positive, rewarding, and uplifting environment where everyone is out to help each other,” says Jonathan Spears who joined in January of last year.

Since joining, Spears’ listing inventory has grown substantially and he sold over $45 million in 2015, up by more than 60 percent from 2014.

The collaborative atmosphere at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty led to a sales volume 23 percent greater than the firm’s nearest competitor among million dollar plus properties listed with and sold by the same company.

“What this statistic means is, luxury properties listed with Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty are more likely to be sold internally by another Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty agent,” says company Broker and Co-owner Blake Morar. “With our agents representing buyer and seller, each party stands to benefit not only from the combined experience, but also from the high standard of service we hold each other to every day.”
