BOTE in Grayton Beach hosts Pups, Paddles and Pints
BOTE in Grayton Beach will host Pups, Paddles, and Pints at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, to benefit local nonprofit Dog-Harmony — and four-legged family members are invited.
“Who doesn’t love to spend an afternoon savoring delicious food and drinking beer with their dog?” said Janie Schmitt. “This fundraiser is a perfect way to get out and spend a little extra time with man’s best friend.”
Pups, Paddles, and Pints features food from AJ’s Grayton Beach, cold brews from Destin Brewery, and information from Pedego Electric Bikes, as well as a chance to win a BOTE Breeze Aero paddleboard.
While the event is free to attend, tickets to win the BOTE Breeze Aero paddleboard are available for purchase before and during the event for $10 each or three for $20.
Crafted with AeroUltra Technology, the lightweight Breeze is the latest in the BOTE inflatable SUP line and retails for $699.
“It’s an incredible board, and to potentially win it for just 10 dollars is an incredible deal,” Schmitt said. “And you don’t have to be present to win, so if you can’t make this awesome event, you can still contribute to this fundraiser and have the chance to win this great board.”
All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Dog-Harmony, which works in the area to reduce shelter populations through education.
“Our goal is to raise $30,000 by the end of the year to help us continue these programs in our area,” Schmitt said. “And I believe with the help of our generous community, this event will definitely put us closer to our goal.”
