Wine Festival: The 24th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival at Seaside includes the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 7 in Seaside’s Lyceum Lawn. Admission is $200. Film festival: The Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor’s Marina Park Amphitheater at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at mountainfilmfl.com for $25 per day or $40 for a two-day weekend pass. Tickets purchased at the gate are $35 per day or $60 for a two-day weekend pass, based on availability. Food, beer, and wine will also be available for purchase.

Blue Angels: Naval Air Station Pensacola will host the annual Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show Nov. 7-9 with the Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, performing on Saturday and Sunday, along with aerobatics by performers. Friday night’s show features a Fire & Lights night pyro show. Admission and parking is free. Food and memorabilia will be available. Pets and coolers are not permitted.

Saturday, Nov. 8

Topsail tour: Breakfast with a Ranger and learn about the park and its history from 9-11 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. To cover the cost of food, please bring $5, which goes to Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park or bring your own breakfast. Call 267-8330.

Art display: Local Color Artists Club will display their art during November at the Walton County Coastal Branch Library. Expect to see a variety of techniques and mediums including watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels, batik, possibly encaustics and crash glass. Call 678-4813.      

Holiday Sale: The Sacred Heart Guild Gift Shop will host its annual Holiday Extravaganza from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main corridor of the hospital. Guests will enjoy a 20 percent discount on unique gift giving items, holiday decorations, tree ornaments, manger scenes, angels, baby clothing, festive toys and stocking stuffers, holiday cards and table décor.

Energy Expo: The Third Annual Energy Expo, sponsored by the DeFuniak Springs Special Events Committee, will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Circle Drive from Seventh Street to Live Oak Avenue. The event is free and open to the public. A large variety of alternative energy sources will be displayed, a farmer’s market and a mobile shredding service will provide shredding services for everyone. Bring donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items to restock the pantry of the Matrix.

Vettes at the Village: Area corvette clubs bring “America's Sports Car” to the Village Events Plaza from 9-5 p.m. at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Cajun Delights: St. Agatha’s Episcopal Church, 150 Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs, will host a Cajun Delights Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Cost is $10/adults; $5/children under 10. Blues Duo: Belmont & Jones bring their vintage blues act to Redd’s Fueling station in Santa Rosa Beach at 7 p.m. Show is free.

Hog’s Breath 5K Run: The 24th annual Hog’s Breath 5K Hog with a Dog Run begins at 3 p.m. Nov. 8 at Hog’s Breath Café in Destin. Proceeds go to Alaqua Animal Refuge. Pick up race packets at Hog’s Breath Clothing from 3-8 p.m. Nov. 7 or day of race from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Package includes Annual Hog’s Breath 5K Run T-shirt, race number and safety pins. Audubon Society: Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Bluewater Bay Winn-Dixie under the sign for a bird walk with Carole Goodyear in the Bluewater Bay and Lake Pippen areas. See loons, shorebirds, ospreys, and woodpeckers. Wear close-toed shoes and bring a sack lunch and binoculars. Call 897-2555.

Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market: The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s.Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams.

Walkabout/Charity Auction: The DCWAF Fall Walkabout & Charity Auction features a silent auction, wines, cocktails, live music and food stations from 2-5 p.m. on the Sunset Deck at Hilton Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Miramar Beach. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at www.dcwaf.org.

Cottages for Kids: The fundraising event to benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network will be open from 12-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 4-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays through Nov. 9 at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach. No entrance fee, but donations for CVHN will be accepted. Cottages will be raffled or auctioned off.

Run 30A:  Run with a group along 30A in the Santa Rosa Beach area at 6 p.m. for distances from 3-6 miles. Run begins at Ed Walline beach access with socializing after at Pizza by the Sea Gulf Place.

Tribute/fundraiser: The REP hosts its fourth annual tribute concert and fundraiser from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Seaside Repertory Theatre. The tribute show will be dedicated to the Rolling Stones. Limited number of seats; get tickets early.

Wednesday, Nov. 12

Calendar Release Party: The Hunks and Hounds Calendar Release Party will be held from 6-9 p.m. at The Bay in Santa Rosa Beach to benefit Alaqua Animal Refuge. Enjoy hors e’oeuvres, music by The Courtyard Saints, auction and meet the hunks.
