Ice skating at Baytowne Wharf a ‘cool’ thing to do
If you want a little cold and ice during the holiday season, the ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the perfect opportunity to get into the winter spirit. The seasonal ice skating rink has become a local holiday favorite. For $11 guests can skate for an hour and a half. Skate rental is available for $2.
The first hour of each day is reserved for “kids skate” for youths 12 and under on days that Baytowne On Ice operates from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

There are several skating packages available this year:
• Skate ‘N Zip - 90 minutes of skate time and a Zipline ride from the Baytowne Adventure Zone. $28
• Skate ‘N Play - 90 minutes of skate time and a $15 B.L.A.S.T. Arcade and Laser Maze Card. $28
• Skate, Zip ‘N Play - 90 minutes of skate time, a Zipline ride from the Baytowne Adventure Zone and a $15 B.L.A.S.T. Arcade and Laser Maze Card. $43
All skating packages can be purchased at the Apex Broadcasting Skating Pavilion.
If you plan on ice skating more than 10 times this winter, season passes are available for $110/Sandestin residents and $130/non-Sandestin residents.
NOVEMBER: Baytowne on Ice will offer a free skate rental to anyone who brings two cans of non-perishable food to the Apex Broadcasting Skating Pavilion to benefit Harvest House.
THROUGH DECEMBER 23: Bring an unopened toy to the Apex Skating Pavilion and receive a buy one, get one free skating session to benefit Toys for Tots.
JANUARY: The Apex Skating Pavilion is the place to be on Tuesdays. Don’t miss buy one, get one free skating every Tuesday.
THURSDAYS: Had a rough week of classes? On Thursdays stop by The Apex Broadcasting Skating Pavilion with your College ID and skate for $10. Offer not valid Nov. 27, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1.
