Baytowne On Ice: For those who miss the cold and ice, the ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the opportunity to get into the winter spirit through Feb. 1 at the Apex Skating Pavilion.

Bocce Tournament: The Ninth Annual Fall Bocce Tournament begins at 10 a.m. on the Western Green in Rosemary Beach. Teams are $40. Sign up will be from 8-9 a.m. Bring your Bocce Balls. Round robin followed by single elimination.

Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market: The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s.Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams.

WCBCC workshop: The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a workshop with representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers at 4 p.m. at the South Walton Courthouse Annex, 31 Coastal Centre Blvd. in Santa Rosa Beach, to discuss beach re-nourishment easements and establishment of the erosion control line for the Hurricane & Storm Damage Reduction Project.

Lecture series: The Walton County Master Gardeners will present a program on pruning from 10-11:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Padgett Park Community Room, 810 JD Miller Road in Santa Rosa Beach. Andrea Schnapp, an arborist and master gardener will cover proper techniques for woody ornamentals and trees. Light refreshments will be served. Call 892-8172 by Dec. 1 to reserve a seat.

Cigar and Whisky tasting: Leslie and Bob Bulgarella of Bijoux and Marvin Holthouser of Harbor Cigars will host a Cigar & Whiskey Tasting fundraiser to benefit Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the newly renovated Market Shops of Sandestin. Patrons can enter a Grand Raffle to win prizes each valued at $1,000 or more.   Tickets are $50/person or $40/MKAF preferred member rate and available to purchase at www.MattieKellyArtsFoundation.org.  All proceeds will benefit MKAF’s mission in bringing cultural experiences and children’s education programs to children and families in Northwest Florida.

Teen Driver Challenge: The Walton County Sheriff’s Office offers a free program, Teen Driver Challenge, from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 5 at Freeport High School in room 201 with the driving portion at 8 a.m. Dec. 6 at the school. Pastel Society: The Pastel Society of North Florida presents its 12th Biennial National All Pastel Juried Exhibition through Dec. 6 in the Mattie Kelly Arts Center's Mcllroy and Holzhauer Galleries at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville. Many of the artists’ works will be available for purchase.
