ArtWalk on the Harbor: HarborWalk Village becomes a mini art district as dozens of artists showcase their creative artwork ranging from traditional to contemporary art, jewelry, paintings, handcrafted items and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 16 at HarborWalk Village. Blood drive: Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast will host the Oneblood mobile unit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 19 at the main entrance of the hospital. All donors will receive a free Tervis cup and a meal ticket to the hospital’s café.

Magic Show: The Seaside Repertory Theatre will donate 20 percent of ticket sales to Jeannette Andrews’ “Perceive” magic show at 8 p.m. Aug. 22 to the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC). In this one-of-a-kind magic for the 21st century performance experience, Andrews will present both interactive pieces of magic and illusions choreographed to music. Tacos & Tequilas: Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's Tacos & Tequilas fundraiser will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Rockin Tacos on the Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island. Free Pre-K Screening

Children ages 3-5 years who are not enrolled in public school or Head Start are invited to participate in a free developmental screening to check speech/communication, learning, social/behavior, motor skills, vision, and hearing. Schedule includes Sept. 2, Oct. 8 and Nov. 4 at Butler Elementary in Santa Rosa Beach and Sept. 3, Oct. 7 and Nov. 5 at Pre-K Center/MS Elementary in DeFuniak Springs. The parent or legal guardian must provide permission for the child to participate in the screening. Labor Day Weekend Concert: Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's Seventh Annual Labor Day Weekend Concert will feature Heather Hayes Experience from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. Bluegrass at the Beach: Blue Highway(headliner),The Hillbenders, Willie Sugarcapps, Run Boy Run, Moore Brothers Band, Dread Clampitt, and Dismal Creek perform during a one day event from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 12 at The Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, 4323 Commons Dr. West in Destin. Hurricane Party: Bud & Alley’s will host the 11th Annual Hurricane Party from 6:30-10 p.m. Sept. 25 with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc. (CVHN). Festival of the Arts: Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation hosts the 20th annual Festival of the Arts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. The festival showcases the original artwork of more than 100 artists and features a live music lineup, art activities for kids, souvenir posters and T-shirts, art raffle and more. 30A Surf Camp: Experienced surfers will run surf camps from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at Seagrove Plaza in Seagrove Beach and Ed Walline Beach Access across from Gulf Place.Students of all experience levels are welcome.

Mommy and Me: Cultural Arts Alliance will offer children's art classes featuring Abrakadoodle from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Bayou Arts Center. The After School Art Classes run from 4-5 p.m. every Monday at the Bayou Arts Center. Cost is $20/class. Call 622-5970 for reservation.

Dancing in the Streets: Dance on the cobblestone streets of Rosemary Beach from 5-8 p.m. Sundays while the Village Brass, a New Orleans style 7-piece strolling jazz band, plays.

Beach Service: Worship at the beach with Hope Lutheran Church from 8-9 a.m. at Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across on Scenic Hwy. 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring a towel, chair, or stand on the boardwalk. The service will be held at the church’s U.S. 98 campus during inclement weather and if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Call 267-0322.

Farmers Market: The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday and Thursday at Cerulean Park. Traditional Farmers Market items such as local farm fresh produce, eggs, and dairy products will be available. There will also be a large variety of organic and homemade items such as Greek gourmet foods, hot and jerk sauces, grass fed beef, chicken, and pork.

Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market: The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s.Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams. Market is held on Wednesdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

30A Farmers’ Market: This community event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays in Town Center in Rosemary Beach features fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, cheese and more. Market is held on Thursdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
