Topsail tour: Learn about local shorebirds from 9-10 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Call 267-8330.

Central Square Cinema: Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and head to the Seaside Amphitheater for "Cinderella" under the stars at 8 p.m.

Baytowne LIVE: Enjoy free music with Stevie Hall Aug. 14 and 18 and Chris Alvarado Aug. 20 at the Village of Baytowne Wharf on Adventure Lane, across from Blast Arcade and Laser Maze.

Saturday, Aug. 15

NashvilleSongwriters concert: Nashville Songwriters in a Line, featuring songwriters Tony Arata, Marc Beeson, and Marcus Hummon, perform from 7-10 p.m. on The Hub's outdoor concert stage on the south side of Scenic 30A at Prominence just east of the WaterSound Beach gate. Bring low back chairs; no outside food or drink allowed. Food available until 10 p.m. and full bar open until midnight.

Dinner theater: Living history performer Jan Turnquist will be featured in "The American Revolution through the Eyes of Phebe Emerson" at 6 p.m. at the Chautauqua Hall of Brotherhood in DeFuniak Springs. Tickets are $30 and available at Walton County Heritage Museum during normal hours or email Proceeds will go toward the renovations at the museum.

Sunday, Aug. 16

Gulf Place Concerts: Gulf Place on 30A at Santa Rosa Beach presents a free summer concert series with Fearless Heights from 6-9 p.m. in the Amphitheater, Scenic Hwy. 30-A and Hwy. 393. ArtWalk on the Harbor: HarborWalk Village becomes a mini art district as dozens of artists showcase their creative artwork ranging from traditional to contemporary art, jewelry, paintings, handcrafted items and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at HarborWalk Village. Also, music on main stage.

Monday, Aug. 17

Groovin’ On The Green: The Carillon Beach Institute presents a free concert with Civilized Natives from 7-9 p.m. at the Village Green. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

Joleen Jones: Vue on 30A, 4801 W. County Hwy. 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, presents live music with Joleen Jones at 5:30 p.m.

Live music: From 8-11p.m. Geoff McBride and Joey Shaling perform at Old Florida Fish House, 5235 E. Hwy. 30A in Seagrove Beach.

Wednesday, Aug. 19

SeasideSummer Concerts: Celebrate the summer season at 7 p.m. with Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes in the Seaside Amphitheater.

Wednesday Night Concert Series: Listen to a free concert with the music of the Betty Fox Band from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin.  

Republican Women: Walton Republican Women Federated will meet at 11 a.m. at Cantina Laredo, 585 Grand Blvd., just east of Sandestin.The program will be presented by Billy Williams, RESTORE coordinator, and Melinda Gates, Environmental Specialist/Coastal Resource liaison for the Walton County Environmental Department. Blood drive: Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast will host the Oneblood mobile unit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the main entrance of the hospital. All donors will receive a free Tervis cup and a meal ticket to the hospital’s café.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Americana Under The Stars: Bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy the music of Jigtoamilestone at 7 p.m. in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill.

Wine Walkabout: Visit Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach for a Wine Walkabout, including wine tasting, food and live music, from 5-7 p.m. in Town Loop Center.

Friday, Aug. 21

The Truman Show: Grab your blankets and head to the Seaside Amphitheater for "The Truman Show," a movie under the stars at 8 p.m.

Topsail tour: Hike to No Name Lake from 9-10:30 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring binoculars, sunscreen, and water. Call 267-8330.
