Veterans Day

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach will celebrate Veterans Day at 9 a.m. Nov. 10 with a free Breakfast with a Ranger. The park will be sharing a teaser of its new program, “WWII, the Florida Panhandle and the Florida State Parks,” and a special gift for those who have served or now serve in the military.

Tribute Weekend

Enjoy live music from four tribute bands the weekend of Nov. 10-11 at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Grab blankets and lawn chairs and meet on the events plaza lawn for a jam-packed weekend of incredible music and talent. From 4-6 p.m. Nov. 10, 52nd Street and Captain Fantastic take the stage, followed by Ultimate Aldean from 7-9 p.m. Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Departure takes over followed by Back to Avalon from 5-7 p.m.

Emerald Coast Honor Games

Emerald Coast Honor Games celebrates our heroes with a day of competition, honor, community, fun, food, and world class views from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at Legendary Marine at the foot of the Mid-Bay Bridge in Destin. The second annual Ruck 22 event kicks things off and provide the community with a unique opportunity to engage, interact, and join area soldiers in an honorary ruck march with 22 full laps around Destin Middle School’s track. Following an opening ceremony, hundreds of competitors will embark on a day of strength, conditioning, and grind during four major fitness competitions. Honor Games is an annual community-based competition to benefit Okaloosa Sheriff's Star Charities, Healing Paws for Warriors, Special Forces Association, and the Combat Control Association.
