Marine Corps Ball on 239th birthday

Celebrating the 239th anniversary of the Marine Corps founding at Tun's Tavern in Philadelphia, retired Marine Colonel Bergie and Carole Bergstrom hosted friends, veterans, and active duty Marines from the EOD school, and their spouses at a pre-ball reception at their home in the Vineyards at Sandestin last Saturday night prior to the Marine Corps Ball held at The Grand Sandestin.

Mark and Linda Carter, Kevin and Denise Greene, John and Connie Yarbro, Ron and Ellen Tabor, Sam and Barb Reda, Calvin and Mary Pat Cedarleaf, Marie McKenna and Leon Andelapos, retired Air Force Colonel Jack and Lore McDonald, retired Colonel James Lanier and Rebecca Rose, Navy Captain Walt and Lindsay Hurrman, former Marines Bob and Georgeia Johnson, Mike and Virginia Dwyer, Kent and Peggy Lillie, and Richard and Linda Mazza were some who attended.

The annual ball provides sponsorships to 32 Marines.
