Free admission increases visitation at state park

Visit South Walton’s (VSW) partnership with Topsail Hill Preserve State Park has increased visitation to the Park by 58 percent in July over the same time last year. Total for the month, the Park has received 3,932 visitors.

The partnership allows the park to waive regular day-use admission fees for public entrance to the park through a reimbursement program administered by VSW. The program, that went into effect May 22, runs until Sept. 7. With funds still available from VSW for this reimbursement program, visitors and residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free admission.
