PARTY LINE: Sunday Brunch is always a good thing
Sunday brunch is always delightful, and Marie's Bistro in Blue Mountain has one of the best. I enjoyed this past Sunday morning and was blown away by the selection offered by Hanie and Marie. Eggs made to order, all kinds of meat, and even mussels were there. It was all good, but the bananas foster French toast was the best. I'll be back. A local mini-Cooper club was arriving as I was leaving, and Hanie was greeting them at the door with mimosas in hand. You just don't get that kind of service everywhere, maybe not anywhere else.
Marie's hosted a tasting lunch last Thursday for media. Lisa Comeau, Teresa Lischka, Shaye Smith, Jessica Proffitt-Bracken, Susan Benton, Darren Nelson, Megan Harrison, Erin Igram, Molly Carter, Kelli Carter, Carey Peters, and Chelsea Blaich enjoyed.
Jeanette Miller, Peggy Lillie, Judy Gluck, Shirley Porter, and Carol McNeilage got together at The Vue on 30A last week for a Beachwalk reunion. They all bought at Sandestin's Beachwalk Villas in the 1990s and lived on the same street in a row. They all sold during the real estate boom and bought other homes on the resort. They have remained friends all this time. Sweet!
