DEFUNIAK SPRINGS - Barry Davis was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday for two counts of first-degree murder, according to the state attorney’s office.

Davis, 27, was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with killing John Hughes, 49, and Hiedi Rhodes, 41, in Hughes’ home in Santa Rosa Beach. The couple has been missing since May 7, 2012.

The state attorney’s office will decide in the coming weeks whether it will seek the death penalty, said Assistant State Attorney Bobby Elmore.
