PARTY LINE: Witches of South Walton ride again

I have covered the Witches of South Walton's annual ride for many years, but this year, I was one of them! Woo hoo! It was loads of fun and benefits a good cause. Maybe I will get to do it again. Riding with the witches this year were Christi Ferry, Brenda Radtke, Karen White, Gillian Lee, Janice Fedkenheuer, Donna Macdonald, Georgeen Newell, Dottie Hidell, Heidi Ellis, Lisa Hinds, JoAnn Graham, Anne Hornstein, Tonia Shatzel, KB Dalal, Kitty Taylor, Annie Parker, Allison Craft, Mary Jane Kirby, Sandy Weiner, and Robin Beans.

Mitchell's Fish Market at Grand Boulevard hosted a wine dinner last Wednesday night, highlighting its tastes of the Pacific Northwest paired with King Estate wines. The soup, oysters, and caramel apple torte were yummy. I saw John Stasko, Zandra Wolfgram, Stacey Brady, Mike and Angela Ragsdale there.

Children's Volunteer Health Network's Cottages For Kids VIP unveiling was last Thursday evening at Tommy Bahama Tropical Cafe at Grand Boulevard. Sarah and Blake Svoboda, Mary Jane Kirby, Stacey Brady, Greg and Jane Bahr, Myra Williams, Joe Serrato, Ann Kief, Zach and Hannah Billingsley were there.

I enjoyed a fun dinner with friends Saturday night at Crust. The mussels in red sauce and lamb lollipops were excellent. I saw John Stasko, Carl and Janice Fedkenheuer, Joan and Jack Luchese there.

Paul and Sandy Luchtefeld, Mike and Sherri McCarty, Sally Smith, and Ed Macdonald attended Tall Tom Hopkins' Fall Fling at Pandora's last Saturday night.

Sherry Londe,  Jennifer Howard, and Lauren Gall attended Sinfonia's concert in Fort Walton last Saturday night.

The beach and water were gorgeous again last weekend, allowing for lovely walks. I encountered Tommy and Linda Bowden again on the beach. Nice couple.

Sorry to lose Mark and Tricia Northcutt to Nashville, and I hear Ray and Martha Jones moved to the north Georgia mountains.
