BIA of Okaloosa and Walton counties honors two homes in the Watersound Origins community
The St. Joe Company has announced that two homes in Watersound Origins, a community on Northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast, have been awarded with two “Best in Class” awards at The 36th Annual Parade of Homes. Presented by the Building Industry Association of Okaloosa and Walton Counties, Inc., the 2015 Parade of Homes showcases a collection of 33 homes across Okaloosa and Walton counties. The 2015 Parade of Homes is organized into 11 categories based on the construction cost of participating homes. Two of the Watersound OriginsSM community builders — Huff Homes and Romair Homes — received Blue Ribbon awards in their respective categories.
“We are thrilled to receive this award for the second year in a row,” says Huff Homes’ Co-founder, Brandon Huff. “Our homes in the Watersound OriginsSM community offer designs and features that complement any lifestyle, such as spacious porches and grand living rooms for family gatherings.”
Founded by Chandler and Brandon Huff, Huff Homes, real estate developer and respected building partner in Northwest Florida, has developed an exceptional reputation along the Emerald Coast. At the Watersound Origins community, Huff Homes offers a variety of floor plans ranging from 1,750 to 2,500 square feet, with a starting price of $428,000. The award-winning home is a Coral Bean two-story floor plan featuring an open kitchen, a generously sized living room, and a dining room that is ideal for hosting guests.
Romair Homes, one of the South Walton region’s most recognized builders, has constructed more than 200 homes in the region over a span of 14 years. Their portfolio of home designs strikes a balance between convenience, design, and quality craftsmanship. Romair Homes at the Watersound Origins community offer home plans ranging from 2,300 to 3,134 square feet, with a starting price of $619,000. The coastal retreat style homes for which they were recognized include three or more bedrooms, a two car garage, and large outdoor living spaces.
“It is an honor to have one of our homes in the Watersound Origins community selected as a leading home in the South Walton region,” says owner Jason Romair. “This recognition acknowledges our homes as among the best in the region.”
