Okaloosa-Walton TPO to Meet Feb. 18 in Destin

The Okaloosa-Walton Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) will meet Feb. 18 at the Destin City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail.

The TPO will meet at 3 p.m. The Citizens’ and Technical Coordinating Advisory Committees (CAC/TCC) will meet at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively.

The TPO will consider:

-- adopting an amendment toTask C.6 Public Transportation Planning in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 – FY 2016 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP),

-- adopting the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Scoring Criteria

-- supporting the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC) 2016 Legislative Policy Positions;

-- appointing a TPO member and an alternate to attend the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC) Institute Workshop for Elected Officials in calendar year 2016

-- supporting enhanced pedestrian safety features in Okaloosa Island.
