Okaloosa-Walton TPO to Meet Feb. 18 in Destin

The Okaloosa-Walton Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) will meet Feb. 18 at the Destin City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail.

The TPO will meet at 3 p.m. The Citizens’ Advisory and Technical Coordinating Committees (CAC/TCC) will meet at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively.

The TPO will consider:

adopting an amendment toTask C.6 Public Transportation Planning in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 – FY 2016 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)

adopting the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Scoring Criteria

supporting the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC) 2016 Legislative Policy Positions

appointing a TPO member and an alternate to attend the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC) Institute Workshop for Elected Officials in calendar year 2016

supporting enhanced pedestrian safety features in Okaloosa Island.
