30A Escapes began as a luxury boutique management company founded by Jim and Camille Dixon. In 2011, the 30A real estate market was at Rock Bottom. The couple sold their successful IT company and hair salon franchises in Memphis to take a chance to create their dream 30A business.

The Dixons had modest growth aspirations and planned to operate a small management company together. They had no idea the dire need in the 30A marketplace for high level executive management.

The company began with just two properties owned by the Dixons. In order to attract new homeowners, Jim started selling real estate educating his prospective buyers about his personal experience of investing and renting his Rosemary and Seacrest properties. He saw the business growing rapidly and needed help in order to provide the high end service his expectations demanded.

First hire, Cassi Hollington, made the leap in leaving the St. Joe Watercolor rental company to join the new 30A Escapes. In less than a year Cassi and Jim grew the management company to over 20+ properties. Dixon then recruited a long respected colleague from Memphis to move down to 30A and help him by taking over the role of CFO and financial partner, Trevor Dooley.

In these short years, Hollington has played a critical role attracting over 80 new homeowners. Hard work pays off as Hollington was recently named vice president of 30A Escapes. A companywide social event was held in her honor with 13 full time staff members in attendance who reported to her as the former director of operations.

In five years of business, 30A Escapes has never had a team member quit. The owners treat and value their team members like family including an all-expenses paid trip to Montana every year for the opening week of ski season creating team building and loyalty within the tight knit network.

Since opening, 30A Escapes prospers with an estimated $5 million in annual revenue for the rental division and over $40 million in the real estates sales within the Beachy Beach 30A brokerage.

"We love what we do and where we live and it shows. It's always inspiring to hear people's stories of success and this is ours. I couldn't be more proud of our team. We look forward to what we can do in the years to come,” said Jim.
