DeFuniak Springs man claims $2 million scratch-off prize
TALLAHASSEE — A DeFuniak Springs man claimed a $2 million prize in a scratch-off game one week before his 38th birthday, according to a Florida Lottery news release.
Tamur Campbell claimed the prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game using a secured drop box located at the Florida Lottery Pensacola District Office, according to the release. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1.78 million.

Campbell purchased his winning ticket from Highway 83 General Store at 4483 State Road 83 N. in DeFuniak Springs. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The $10 game, 100X THE CASH, launched in September 2020 and features more than $294 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $2 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.5, according to the release.
Scratch-off games comprise about 75% of ticket sales and generated more than $1 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund in fiscal year 2019-20.
