WCFR, Argyle Volunteer Fire Department and Liberty Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. First responders arrived to find flames and heavy smoke barreling from the building.

A WCFR aerial truck was used to rain down water to control the blaze while firefighters entered the building and extinguished the flames.

U.S. 90 between State Road 83 and Eighth Street was closed for about five hours while firefighters battled the blaze. According to the release, firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to neighboring businesses.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was still unknown later Wednesday. The State Fire Marshal’s Office was called in to investigate.

This is a developing story. More information will be released as it becomes available.
