DeFuniak man busted in Holmes County on drug, tag charges

Gannett Florida staff reports
The News Herald

A DeFuniaks Springs man was arrested Thursday after a sheriff’s deputy saw him stick his hand out of his car and later found a bag of meth at that spot.

Bradley G. Coone, 40, was spotted at Peak Road and Highway 160 by a Holmes County deputy, who saw Coone extend his hand out the driver’s side window of his car just before stopping.

A check with dispatch indicated Coone didn’t have a driver’s license. Also, the car’s tag actually belonged to a utility trailer.

When the deputy went back to the spot where Coone allegedly stuck his hand out the window, the deputy found a bag of meth.

Coone was charged with possession of meth, tampering with evidence, unlawful alteration of a tag, driving with a suspended license and attaching an unassigned tag to his vehicle.
