DeFuniak Springs man charged with killing Crestview woman during domestic dispute
A DeFuniak Springs man has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a Crestview woman, according to a Crestview Police Department Facebook post.
Around 4 a.m. Sunday, Amos Edward Washington, 29, allegedly shot and killed Angelica Le, 29, during a domestic dispute in the parking lot of the Bel Aire Terrace apartments in Crestview.
Washington allegedly then fled the area, taking two of the three children from the residence.
Approximately an hour later, Washington was taken into custody by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office without incident. The two children were recovered unharmed, according to the post.

The Crestview Police Department has charged Washington with first-degree murder, shooting a deadly weapon into a vehicle, violation of an injunction order and two counts of aggravated child abuse.
Washington is currently being held in the Okaloosa County Jail.
The Crestview Police Department credited the Santa Rosa County Sheriffs Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Scene Unit for assisting in the investigation.
