Eglin F-16s to fly over Crestview and Niceville football games Friday

NICEVILLE — Four F-16 fighter jets from Eglin Air Force Base will fly over Okaloosa County's home high school football games Friday after the national anthem is performed by the home team’s band, according to the Okaloosa County School District.

The flyovers will be in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day and serve as a visual representation of appreciation to our community and military.

The flyovers will occur as Crestview High School faces off against Choctawhatchee High School and at Niceville High School as it hosts Tallahassee's Godby High School.

Each location will include a special presentation and guest speaker before the flyover. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at both games.
