No one is above the law.

This is the mantra regurgitated by the Democrats for months since Nancy Pelosi caved in to Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and a few radical Democrats to pursue impeachment inquiries against Donald Trump. Schiff prejudices surface when he conducted a heavy-handed approach by holding hearings behind closed doors, holding the authority to approve questions from Republicans, refusing to allow Trump attorneys to present evidence and even preventing testimony from the whistle blower. Not a single Republican voted for the impeachment. So much for Pelosi’s vow of a bipartisan approval.

The articles of impeachment drafted by Schiff were little more than political fabrications designed to reverse President Trump’s upset victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016. They were based on hearsay testimonies of a phone call Trump had with the the newly elected president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zolenskyy, during which he requested a favor asking him to look into the case of Burisma Holdings, a company long suspected of involvement in corruption in Ukraine. Every witness in Schiff’s hearings couldn’t produce a single shred of evidence that Trump committed a crime.

The Democrats completely ignored the fact former VP Joe Biden actually committed the crime that Trump was accused of committing. Biden bragged about threatening to withdraw a $1 billion from Ukraine if former president Petro Poroshenko refused to fire Viktor Skokin who announced an investigation of Burisma Holdings, where Joe’s son Hunter Biden sat on the board. Hunter was being paid $50,000 on the board despite having no prior experience in gas or oil. Do the Democrats believe Joe Biden is above the law?

The articles of impeachment drafted by Schiff completely make no reference to charges that Trump colluded with Putin and Russia. Mueller’s report found no evidence of collusion. Instead Schiff now accuses him of the vague charge of “obstructing Congress.” Of course it didn’t seem to matter that Hillary Clinton destroyed over 30,000 e-mails on a private server that were under subpoena from Congress.

The hypocrisy of Schiff and his fellow Democrats is now on display for the world to see. They have no case against Trump. The transcript of the call reveals no “quid pro quo” and Zolenskyy himself publicly denied he was under any pressure. Once again the Democrats are making the cardinal mistake of underestimating Trump.

The only “crime” he’s committed is keeping his promises to the American people. Maybe they should try the same thing.
